Alan B. Roberts graduated with a BBA in Accounting, and in August of 1981, Alan launched his own company, Pumpco, Inc. Over the years, Pumpco, Inc. has flourished both in the territory it covers and services it provides to the oil and gas industry. Alan has built a reputation for reliability and efficiency in Pumpco’s primary business of constructing pipelines ranging from 12 to 36 inches in diameter. Pumpco has built solid working relationships with a host of major companies in the industry. In 2007, Alan was thrilled to see Pumpco, Inc. named as an Aggie 100 business. In August of 2007, the Alan B. Roberts family established an endowment with the Texas A&M Foundation to help fund the Center for Executive Development Undergraduate Scholars Program. In 2008, Alan received the honor of being named a Mays Business School Outstanding Alumni and is a member of the 12th Man Foundation Bryan/College Station Champions Council. He is married to Robyn (Meyer) Roberts who graduated from Texas A&M in 1989 with a BBA in Accounting. They have two daughters, Jennifer ’13 and Allyson, a student at Giddings High School.
