Neal Adams earned his BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University in 1968. He was Head Yell Leader in 1967-68. In 1970, Neal obtained his Juris Doctor from Baylor University. He resides in Euless, has been practicing law in Tarrant County for more than 39 years and is president of the law firm of Adams, Lynch & Loftin, P.C. in Grapevine. Neal served a six year term as a member of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, with two of those years as vice chairman (2005-2007). Neal is a past member and president of the board of trustees of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District and a past member of the board of managers of the Tarrant County Hospital District. He is a member of the 12th Man Foundation Fort Worth Champions Council, Texas A&M President’s Advisory Committee, past chairman and a current member of the President's Board of Visitors for the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets, chair of the Chancellor's Century Council for the Texas A&M System, past co-agent for the Class of ‘68, and past president of the Former Yell Leaders Association. In October of 2002 and 2007, Texas Lawyer magazine named Neal as the "Go-To Lawyer" for school law in the State of Texas. From 2003-11, Texas Monthly magazine named Neal one of Texas' Super Lawyers in school and education law. In 2011, the Fort Worth Business Press named Neal one of the Tarrant County Power Attorneys. In 2008 Neal was awarded the Association of Former Students Distinguished Alumnus Award. In 2010, Neal was inducted into the Corps of Cadets Hall of Honor.
Neal and his wife, Sonja, a retired third grade teacher, have two daughters: Marti Morgan '93, a CPA with Accenture in Irving, and Paige Petro, a graduate of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing, who is an RN Clinical Training Specialist with Verathon Medical in Dallas. As hobbies, Neal enjoys quail hunting with his bird dogs, snow skiing, traveling and supporting Texas A&M University.
